Let it Snow! Let it Snow! We've Got No Place To Go! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Seriously, We've Got No Place To Go!

We have had more snow this winter than what I have seen in my whole life! I am not from Utah originally and it's taken me about 4 years to adjust to the snow in the winter time. Beau and I have a serious case of cabin fever, Beau more so than myself. He would do just about anything to go outside and get rid of his wiggles. Well, wiggles never completely leave a 1 and 1/2 year old, but it helps to run around for a little while:) So, we bundled up and headed out. Poppa (Jerry) was out with the snow blower, clearing the drive way and sidewalk. We watched him for a bit and then Poppa got a cute little sled out and took Beau for a little ride. He had lots of fun! He tipped over once face first into the snow, and decided he had had enough after that. But it was fun while it lasted! Tomorrow is Christmas and I am excited to let everyone know how things go and how Beau reacts! Merry Christmas everyone!!! Yipee!!!

Teething

Beau has the four front teeth up top and the four fronts on the bottom. The last few weeks he has been trying to cut his first molars! This has been a whole new ballgame. He did phenomonal with those first eight. But these molars are tough. They are obviously bigger and seem to be taking longer. Maybe they take longer because they are bigger. He has had a fever at one point and thrown up a couple of times. He is in pain more often than not and BITES EVERYTHING! The proof is in the photo below! I try and do what I can to help ease the pain. I am always open to other mommies opinions and so I would like to share some of the things I do for Beau when he is teething. First, there's always orajel and baby tylenol. I, personally, prefer to try several other remedies before I give Beau tylenol. I found this cool net thingy with a small handle that you can put frozen fruit in. I strip him down, put him in his high chair, and let him go at it. It's really great! This was recommended to me by the lady at 7-eleven. :) Next you can give him a big piece of jerky that he can chew on for a long time. This is my favorite....not messy and seems to be quite effective. Many thanks on this one to my sister Jamee! That's really all I have so far. If any of you have different ideas please share!

Like I said......BEAU BITES EVERYTHING!
