Easter Fun

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Buggy? (In case you didn't know, that's what I've called Beau since he was real little. I'll explain the origin of that another time.) Anyway, I just adore him. He has had a "terrible two" attitude since he turned 18 months. Sometimes it's funny and sometimes it definately isn't. But either way, he is mine and I love him just the way he is and I always will. How could you not? Just look at this little creature!

Easter was a success. The only thing I wish is that we lived closer to my sister in Reno. She has 3 kids (and one on the way). And it would have been nice for Beau to have some cousins to hunt eggs with and spend time with. He gets lonely here by himself. Well, I don't think he knows what it would be like to have cousins to play with, but if he did, I know he would love it! Other than that, we had lots of fun.
On the up side, Beau got to keep all the eggs for himself. Which, by the way, were filled with quarters instead of candy. Beau doesn't have a huge sweet tooth, and there really isn't any candy suitable for a kid his age. I, personally, would rather have quarters anyway.

Coloring eggs was a big fat mess. Beau had no interest in coloring the eggs, just peeling them apart and throwing them, yelling "ball" the whole time. TK tried to help me, but it just didn't work out. Here is the finished product: So sad!

Beau putting his quarters into his bank.

The sun was in our eyes. Can't tell at all by Buggy's face, huh? :)

Here's Buggy searching for the eggs. We did them all outside. He did fantastic. I showed him once what to do and that was that. He was a pro!

HAPPY EASTER!

Walks

I have been trying to go on daily walks with Beau. It's still pretty cold at times and I am pretty sure we will be getting more snow before the month ends. So that makes it difficult. We do have fun, though, and Beau loves being outside. I just collect a bunch of rocks and put them in his little cup holders and he is good to go! A stick he can drag across the trail road will also make him happy. Such a boy! (pics are from my phone....that's why they are small)

Play Time

Beau loves the family dog, Max. He found this pretend dog in the play room the other day. It squeaks when you pull it around. He thought it was pretty cool.
This is a cool little play room in TK's parents house. They had it built directly under the stairs. Since we are currently living in their basement, Beau has full access to this play room whenever he pleases. I think it's the cutest thing ever. And it even has disney characters painted on the walls! I LooooooVE Disney!

Funny Fact: Beau doesn't say Max when referring to Max, the real dog. He points and says "Arf"....which sounds more like "Arc". I am pretty sure he thinks that's the name of all dogs in the world.

To See the Best Video Ever, Continue Reading

For whatever reason I can't post any videos...it always tells me there is a technical error. We took the CUTEST video ever recorded a couple weeks ago and I noticed my dad posted it on his blog. The video is the last part of his post, a couple of pics are before it. Check it out here: http://brainbody.blogspot.com/2011/04/not-much-time-to-write-but-heres-some.html I am the one recording the action and TK is the one making the weird sounds. Loni thought he sounded like he was throwing up. For the record, he's not. How awful would that be if he was, and Beau was cracking up at it as I recorded the yuckiness?!? (Sorry about the poor quality of the video. I captured it using my wonderfully free not so awesome phone)

POCOYO

Beau and I love watching Pocoyo. Has anyone else ever seen it? I think that it is fairly new to the U.S. but I'm not entirely sure about that. The show tries to teach "learning through laughter". Each little episode is only about 5-7 minutes. Oh it's just so darn cute. We found a dvd of it at a Redbox kiosk one day so I bought it. And now they have their stuff at Toys R Us. So excited! You can watch it on You Tube too. Anyways, just wanted to share the joys of Pocoyo with everyone!
