Easter Fun

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Buggy? (In case you didn't know, that's what I've called Beau since he was real little. I'll explain the origin of that another time.) Anyway, I just adore him. He has had a "terrible two" attitude since he turned 18 months. Sometimes it's funny and sometimes it definately isn't. But either way, he is mine and I love him just the way he is and I always will. How could you not? Just look at this little creature!

Easter was a success. The only thing I wish is that we lived closer to my sister in Reno. She has 3 kids (and one on the way). And it would have been nice for Beau to have some cousins to hunt eggs with and spend time with. He gets lonely here by himself. Well, I don't think he knows what it would be like to have cousins to play with, but if he did, I know he would love it! Other than that, we had lots of fun.
On the up side, Beau got to keep all the eggs for himself. Which, by the way, were filled with quarters instead of candy. Beau doesn't have a huge sweet tooth, and there really isn't any candy suitable for a kid his age. I, personally, would rather have quarters anyway.

Coloring eggs was a big fat mess. Beau had no interest in coloring the eggs, just peeling them apart and throwing them, yelling "ball" the whole time. TK tried to help me, but it just didn't work out. Here is the finished product: So sad!

Beau putting his quarters into his bank.

The sun was in our eyes. Can't tell at all by Buggy's face, huh? :)

Here's Buggy searching for the eggs. We did them all outside. He did fantastic. I showed him once what to do and that was that. He was a pro!

HAPPY EASTER!

  2. This is perfect. When you guys all come to Elko, we have the perfect yard and park near us, well, everything is near us, the city park is perfect for escaping from alligators who run on the grass and rocks, and our back yard will be huge for them to run in. I love Beau peeling the eggs and throwing them like balls. THAT is a perfect memory.
